PUTTING GOD FIRST CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES, INC.

God has presented us with a mission.
Our mission is to prepare Christians for today's challenges.
Christian's are being attacked, within their marriages, their family, their jobs, and community.
We will be there to listen to what they have to say, with Biblical Counselors standing by.
Spiritual needs must be met to keep a family together.

As a Christian Organization we are committed in helping as we are equipped.

God's retreat is not just for children, it's for families, churches, couples, and pastors.
God's retreat is a meeting place for all who seek Jesus Christ.
God's retreat is a safe zone, a place to seek only the truth, according to Scripture.

Great place for your next church outing, youth group, or just come as a family.
CHRISTIAN RETREAT & CAMPGROUND
SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE
GIVING............Your financial support is so very important for community outreach programs.
GIVING............Your Time, get involved, get on a committee to help solve local community issues.

These are some of our local residents out for a stroll.
WHERE WILL YOUR CHILDREN BE THIS SUMMER?
The Pacolet River has many twists and turns. You can Kayak for miles or you can go tubing from one part of the
property to the other in a leisurely trip that takes about 45 minutes. Either way you can enjoy the peace and quiet
associated with being on the river.
The view at night can be awesome.

waiting for the nice spring grass to start
popping up again...
Our Sunday Services are for
Campers who don't want to miss
church while they are away
from home.
Our Saturday Family Movie
Night is
free for  anyone who
wants to get together and
watch a Christian Movie
that is appropriate for all ages.
We put in a little zip-line for kids,
but one of our beloved board
members decided to try it out, and
had a blast... [by the way he is 81]
We are looking forward to making a
much larger zip-line in our near
future.
These were some weekend campers that
brought their horses. I think there were
11 horses in all, pictured below.

Help needed to build a raised garden. We are in the process of building a community garden.

(1) WE NEED OLD POWER POLES FOR THE FRAME OF THE GARDENS.
(2) WE NEED GOOD FERTILIZED TOP SOIL.
(3) WE NEED SEEDS OR SMALL FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PLANTS.

This project is to teach the children how to grow their own fruits and vegetables, how to care for them and during the growing
season take home the fruits of their labors. This gives children the opportunity to get the satisfaction of taking home what they
have grown. While teaching how to grow and take care of the plants, we will also teach the values of healthful eating.
Help at risk and city kids learn the value of growing their own food, and the pride that comes from a job well done.
Not only do we want to help change children's lives through self satisfaction, but we want to preserve the
landscape of the land and the beautiful surroundings, that include the trails, river, and various kinds of
wildlife. There is wild turkey, deer, beaver, many species of birds, and some we have not identified as yet.
